Email marketing can be an effective tool or merely another form of communication leading users to "email fatigue." The key issue recipients of newsletters face is oversaturation. A study on modern email marketing practices and strategies for boosting conversions also addresses this, stating that personalization and content adaptation based on voluntarily provided data are the critical elements that can enhance campaign success. In the tourism industry, where personalization and interest-based adaptation play an important role, these findings have helped us better target and engage recipients of the Rogaška Slatina tourism destination newsletter, thereby increasing conversions.

Email Marketing Strategy
We have thoughtfully directed a comprehensive strategy to improve communication with both returning and new visitors. We designed CTA button optimization to facilitate user interest expression and newsletter sign-ups. We established methods and tools for acquiring new emails through sweepstakes, gamified web interfaces, and pop-up forms, ensuring subscribers stay updated on special offers seamlessly integrated into the destination’s website via a web widget. Our strategy includes a plan to enhance CTOR by incorporating personalized content, reducing bounce rates and unsubscribe rates through targeted campaigns. This holistic approach will help strengthen connections with visitors and promote their loyalty.
Analytics
The analytics included a preliminary assessment, which was essential for shaping an effective strategy. We reviewed the number of newsletters sent, the number of recipients, and the number of lists to which recipients were subscribed. We also analyzed the open rates and click-through rates (CTR) and assessed content effectiveness through the CTOR metric. Based on this data, we developed concrete improvement suggestions, which we integrated into the strategy. The preliminary assessment enabled us to optimize the email marketing strategy with the goal of increasing recipient engagement and satisfaction.
Newsletter Templates
We designed practical and visually appealing templates that enable easy newsletter distribution while maintaining brand consistency. The templates align with the corporate identity (CI) and include all essential elements, such as the logo, color scheme, and fonts, ensuring recognizability and a professional appearance.
Results
Nova email marketing strategija se je že takoj na začetku izkazala za uspešno. Odprtost sporočil je dosegla skoraj 67 %, kar kaže na uspešno privabljanje pozornosti prejemnikov. Poleg tega je uspešnost kampanje, merjena kot delež prejemnikov, ki so odprli e-mail in kliknili na povezave, znašala 50 %, kar potrjuje učinkovitost vsebine in engagement naše ciljne publike.
