WITHLOVE
Greetings from the most romantic destination
In the digital age, the way we express emotions is changing – emojis, short messages, and carefully crafted posts prevail, often failing to reflect genuine feelings. The speed and superficiality of digital media diminish the authenticity of expression and limit deep emotional connections. A study on the changes in communication patterns in the digital age confirms that digital communication reduces the authenticity of emotional expressions, which in turn affects interpersonal relationships. Since the RTM month at Bled Castle is dedicated to love, we wanted to revive the tradition of expressing emotions in a more personal way. Instead of love letters, we offered visitors the opportunity to write and send a postcard – a gesture that carries lasting value and a personal touch.

At the castle: Send a postcard with a message of love
At Bled Castle, visitors rediscovered the power of handwritten words and experienced the romantic tradition of the past. In the castle’s printing house, they could choose from free postcards featuring six motifs of Bled Castle and messages of love—to themselves, to a loved one, or for future generations. They personalized the postcard with their own message, stamped it with the castle seal, and dropped it into the heart-shaped mailbox beneath the lapidarium. From there, the postcard carried greetings from the most romantic tourist destination to every corner of the world.
All postcards were available in both Slovene and English, and visitors could also receive them free of charge at TIC Bled.

On TikTok: Discover Love at Bled Castle
The entire campaign was interconnected and extended to TikTok, where we engaged a younger audience with relaxed and authentic content. As part of the RTM month, Neja and Nik created charming videos that followed the happenings at Bled Castle—from romantic postcard writing to conversations with wedding photographers whose works were exhibited at the castle. Through humor, genuine responses, and interesting stories, we emphasized the importance of expressing emotions and revived the tradition of love messages in a way that resonates with contemporary generations.
