Connecting through Social Media

When it comes to choosing natural health products, consumers are often cautious about quality, safety, and effectiveness. We gained deeper insight into the topic through a study on over-the-counter drug marketing, which shows that overcoming these reservations requires well-informed consumers and clear brand differentiation. This was our guiding principle when we took over the social media profiles for the Aboca brand, which offers natural and biodegradable medical supplies. Our goal was to establish professional and trustworthy communication, while increasing the brand's visibility and reputation in both the Slovenian and Croatian markets.

Professional and Trustworthy Communication

Our approach is based on regularly publishing expert and educational content that addresses the key challenges consumers face. Although we follow an international strategy, we tailor the content to the local market and consider the specific needs of Slovenian and Croatian users. Since these are medical devices, we have avoided fun or overly promotional posts, as we want Aboca’s social media channels to be a reliable source of information that simplifies the decision-making process for consumers.

Targeted Approach

In addition to organic presence, we designed targeted advertising campaigns on Meta and Google Ads platforms. We divided the campaigns into awareness ads, which boost brand recognition and highlight its unique advantages, and sales ads, part of larger campaigns that target consumers in the purchase phase and encourage immediate action. The ad content is aligned with the brand’s visual identity and overall marketing strategy, ensuring a consistent and compelling market presence.

Results

Through a consistent educational approach and expert content, we increased the number of followers by 70% on the Slovenian profile and by over 200% on the Croatian profile within the first month of management. We boosted user engagement, enhanced brand recognition, and strengthened consumer trust in the quality and effectiveness of Aboca products. The first advertising campaign of 2025 for the GrinTuss product is already showing early signs of sales growth, and Aboca’s social media channels have become a credible reference point for anyone seeking reliable information on natural medical supplies.
